The US Department of Labor was established in the year 1913 in order to encourage, promote, and improve the benefits of the job seekers, retirees, and wage earners of the US.
If this scheme gets executed, it could help US in ending the reverse brain drain. A number of students migrate to US from different countries every year to study in top US universities and colleges, but because of the US immigration policies they are moving back to their home countries taking back the skills and education. Eventually using the skills they perused in the development of some other country’s economy. This initiative can help in avoiding this situation.
In a recent CIS report it was shown that the number of graduates in the field of STEM and the number of jobs available in the same field are in the ratio of 2:1; average salary range for the STEM field jobs raised less than 1% from 2000 to 2012, which projects that the wages remained constant.
