What are different types of American Tourist Visas?


The United States is the most familiar country that has owned utmost reputation throughout the world. Most aspirants wish to immigrate to the US to avail benefits of its lifestyle, study and employment options. As most aspirants are showing interest towards migrating to the US, the government has designed non-immigrant visas for individuals who wish to visit US temporarily either for business or tourism purpose. Citizens of some countries do not require a USA Tourist Visato enter and stay in the country for a period of three months.
Types of USA Visitor visas
The B-1/B-2 visas are the two types of USA Visitor Visas where B-1 visa is for individuals who wish to carry out certain business activities in the country andB-2 USA Visitor Visa is for individuals who wish to visit the US for tourism. Through B-1 visa, individuals can meet business associates, attend educational, scientific, professional conferences and negotiate business contracts. The B-2 visa lets travelers visit friends or close relatives, carryout medical treatment and other activities including social, fraternal or service nature. Mostly, the B-1 and B-2 USA Tourist Visas are unified and issued on a single visa referred as the B-1/B-2.
USA Visitor Visas Requirements:
The applicants of USA Visitor Visas must determine that they are eligible for the US visa with respect to the US Immigration and Nationality Act (INA). You must satisfy certain conditions which include:
  • Purpose of your visit is temporary i.e. the reason should be either business or tourism or medical treatment.
  • Must demonstrate that you will stay in the US only for a definite period.
  • Financial proof stating that you are capable of meeting your expenses during your stay in the country.
  • Proof demonstrating that you hold other ties such as social or economic outside the US.
